MiPartyApp™ (“MiPartyApp,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected when you use MiPartyApp websites, event experiences, applications, dashboards, QR-code experiences, Vendor services, Affiliate services, and related services.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use MiPartyApp, we may collect:
Account Information
- Name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Username;
- Account credentials;
- Business information;
- Account role; and
- Verification information.
Event Information
- Event name;
- Event type;
- Event dates;
- Venue or location;
- Schedule;
- Event instructions;
- RSVP information;
- Guest lists;
- Guestbook entries;
- Event privacy settings; and
- Other information supplied by an Event Host.
Photos, Videos and Media
MiPartyApp may process photos, videos, captions, messages, and other media uploaded by Members, Guests, Co-Hosts, or other authorized users.
Guest Information
Depending on Event Host settings, we may collect:
- Name;
- Contact information;
- RSVP response;
- Party size;
- Guestbook entries;
- Uploaded content; and
- Interaction information.
Some event experiences may permit limited participation without creating a full MiPartyApp account.
Vendor Information
We may collect:
- Business name;
- Contact information;
- Logo;
- Description;
- Categories;
- Service area;
- Website;
- Social media links;
- Portfolio;
- Offers;
- Availability;
- Reviews; and
- Lead or inquiry information.
Affiliate Information
We may collect:
- Contact information;
- Referral identifiers;
- Referral links and codes;
- Click and conversion information;
- Commission records;
- Payout information;
- Tax-related information where required; and
- Affiliate account activity.
Payment Information
Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. MiPartyApp may receive transaction information such as payment status, amount, plan, invoice, refund, chargeback, and payment identifiers. MiPartyApp may not directly store complete payment-card information when payments are handled by a third-party payment processor.
Technical and Usage Information
We may collect:
- IP address;
- Browser;
- Device type;
- Operating system;
- Session information;
- QR scans;
- Page activity;
- Event interactions;
- Upload activity;
- Referral source;
- Analytics events;
- Error logs; and
- Security information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Create and maintain accounts;
- Authenticate users;
- Provide event experiences;
- Process and display authorized photos and videos;
- Manage RSVPs and guestbooks;
- Generate and track QR codes;
- Operate Vendor profiles and marketplaces;
- Deliver Vendor inquiries;
- Operate Affiliate tracking and commissions;
- Process payments and subscriptions;
- Handle refunds and chargebacks;
- Provide customer support;
- Send transactional notifications;
- Improve Platform performance;
- Detect fraud, malware, abuse, and security threats;
- Moderate content;
- Respond to privacy and removal requests;
- Maintain audit and consent records;
- Comply with legal obligations; and
- Protect MiPartyApp, our users, and third parties.
3. Event Hosts and Guest Privacy
Event Hosts may control whether an event is private, link-only, invite-only, or public when those options are available. Guests should understand that information or media submitted to an event may be visible to the Event Host, authorized Co-Hosts, and other event participants according to the Event Host’s settings. Event Hosts are responsible for choosing privacy settings appropriate for their event.
4. Photos and Videos
MiPartyApp processes uploaded media to provide Platform functionality. Processing may include:
- Uploading;
- Storage;
- Compression;
- Thumbnail creation;
- Format conversion;
- Moderation;
- Display;
- Download;
- Backup; and
- Delivery through content-distribution infrastructure.
MiPartyApp does not claim ownership of original user-created photos or videos merely because they are uploaded to the Platform.
5. Content Moderation and Safety
MiPartyApp may process content for security, moderation, fraud prevention, abuse detection, malware detection, and policy enforcement. Automated tools may assist with these functions where appropriate. Content may also be reviewed by authorized personnel when necessary for support, moderation, security, legal compliance, or abuse investigation.
6. Children and Minors
MiPartyApp recognizes that family celebrations, school events, graduations, birthdays, quinceañeras, and other events may involve minors.
Event Hosts are responsible for obtaining permissions required by applicable law before uploading or encouraging the upload of information or media involving minors, including letting their guests know that pictures will be taken and confirming that the participation of any minor has been approved by that minor’s parent or guardian.
MiPartyApp may implement additional restrictions, privacy protections, consent procedures, or removal processes for content involving minors.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@mipartyapp.com, and we will promptly delete such information.
7. Vendors and Leads
When a user chooses to contact or submit an inquiry to a Vendor, relevant information may be shared with that Vendor so the Vendor can respond. Vendors are responsible for their independent handling of information they receive.
8. Affiliates
Affiliate referral links and codes may use tracking technologies or identifiers to determine whether an eligible transaction should be attributed to an Affiliate. Affiliate dashboards may show referral and transaction information necessary to administer the program but should not provide unauthorized access to private customer data.
9. How Information May Be Shared
MiPartyApp may share information with service providers that assist with:
- Hosting;
- Cloud storage;
- Content delivery;
- Payment processing;
- Email;
- SMS;
- Analytics;
- Customer support;
- Security;
- Artificial intelligence;
- CRM and automation;
- Mapping; and
- Other Platform operations.
Service providers should receive only information reasonably necessary to perform their functions and are subject to their applicable contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information:
- With your direction or consent;
- To an Event Host where required to operate an event;
- To an authorized Vendor when you submit an inquiry;
- To investigate fraud or abuse;
- To protect rights or safety;
- To comply with legal process;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of business assets; or
- Where otherwise permitted or required by law.
10. We Do Not Sell Private Event Media as Advertising Inventory
MiPartyApp does not treat private event photos or videos as a commodity to be sold to unrelated advertisers merely because users upload them to an event. Any materially different use of private event media would require an appropriate legal basis, disclosure, and consent where required.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
MiPartyApp may use cookies and similar technologies for:
- Authentication;
- Preferences;
- Security;
- Analytics;
- Affiliate attribution;
- Platform performance; and
- Marketing where legally permitted.
Where required by law, users will be provided appropriate cookie choices or consent mechanisms.
12. Communications
MiPartyApp may send transactional communications relating to accounts, events, purchases, security, uploads, RSVPs, subscriptions, Vendor inquiries, Affiliate activity, and support. Marketing communications will be sent according to applicable consent requirements. Users may opt out of eligible marketing communications without preventing necessary transactional or service messages.
13. Data Retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide the applicable service;
- Maintain an account;
- Preserve an active event;
- Provide purchased Memory Vault/storage services;
- Maintain transaction records;
- Resolve disputes;
- Administer commissions;
- Prevent fraud;
- Maintain security and audit records; and
- Meet legal obligations.
Event photos and videos may have plan-specific retention periods. Users should download important content before an event or storage period expires.
14. Data Security
MiPartyApp intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed. These may include encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, tenant isolation, audit logs, authentication controls, file validation, rate limits, malware detection, backups, and security monitoring where implemented. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
15. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to:
- Request access;
- Request correction;
- Request deletion;
- Portability: request a machine-readable copy of your data;
- Request information about certain disclosures or processing;
- Withdraw certain consent;
- Opt out of eligible marketing communications; or
- Exercise other rights provided by applicable law.
MiPartyApp may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have additional rights, including the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (Note: We do not sell personal information)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
- Limit use of sensitive personal information
Texas Residents (TDPSA)
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of targeted advertising.
European / UK Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom have rights under GDPR, including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

16. Media Removal Requests
Individuals may request review or removal of personal media through MiPartyApp’s designated reporting or support process. Requests may require sufficient information to identify the applicable event and content. MiPartyApp may coordinate with the Event Host where appropriate while retaining the ability to act directly where required for privacy, safety, intellectual property, or legal compliance.
17. International Use
MiPartyApp may eventually operate across multiple jurisdictions. Information may be processed in countries different from the user’s location. Where required, MiPartyApp will implement appropriate mechanisms for international transfers of personal information.
18. Third-Party Links
Events, Vendors, and Sponsors may contain links to third-party websites or services. MiPartyApp is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as MiPartyApp evolves. The “Last Updated” date will identify the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
