    • Event Information: Event name, date, type, description, guest list details, and event preferences
    • User Content: Photos, videos, messages, captions, and other media uploaded by you or your guests
    • Communications: Messages you send to us for customer support or inquiries

    1.2 Information Collected Automatically

    When you use the Service, we automatically collect:

    • Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs
    • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, clicks, time spent on pages, and navigation paths
    • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to enhance your experience and analyze usage (see Section 6 for details)

    1.3 Information from Third Parties

    If you choose to contact a Vendor through the Service, we may share your name and contact information with that Vendor to facilitate the connection. We are not responsible for the Vendor's use of your data.

    3.4 Business Transfers

    In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

    3.5 Legal Compliance

    We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MiPartyApp, our users, or the public.

    4. User-Generated Content and Guest Media

    MiPartyApp is designed to collect and share photos, videos, and other media submitted by event guests. Please be aware:

    • Visibility: Media you or your guests upload may be viewable by other guests and the Event Organizer, depending on the event settings
    • Organizer Control: Event Organizers control media visibility, download permissions, and sharing settings
    • Guest Responsibility: Guests who submit media consent to it being shared within the event app as configured by the Event Organizer
    • Removal Requests: If you wish to have your media removed from an event app, please contact the Event Organizer directly. For unresolved issues, contact us at privacy@mipartyapp.com

    5. Data Retention

    We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

    • Maintain your active account
    • Provide the Service
    • Comply with legal obligations
    • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

    When your account is closed, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required by law to retain it longer. Event media may be retained for up to 12 months post-event before automatic deletion unless you request earlier removal.

    Note: Event Organizers who create events attended by minors are responsible for ensuring appropriate parental consent is obtained before collecting minors' media or personal information through the Service.

If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

    For transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses as required by applicable law.
